Power Automate consultant: workflows that run without you
The repetitive admin (chasing approvals, forwarding attachments, copying data from one place to another, sending the same report every Monday) is exactly what Power Automate is for. I build flows that do it on their own, and keep doing it.
How the work goes
A good flow is boring: it fires when it should, does the same thing every time, and tells someone when it can't. I build them across Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Excel), Dataverse and the systems you already use, and I design for the failure cases, so a flow that hits a missing file or a bad row doesn't silently stop.
Most engagements start small: one process that costs someone an hour a day. Once that works, there is usually a list. I'm happy to do the one and leave you with something you understand, or to work through the list on a fixed quote per flow.
Where Power Automate isn't the right tool (a heavy data job, a desktop application, something better done in a script) I'll say so and suggest what is.

Every job of this kind gets scoped first: a short call, a written scope, then a fixed price before work starts. Small changes to an existing build are quoted on the spot, or you can have me by the hour at £80.

Questions people ask
- Cloud flows or desktop flows?
- Cloud flows for anything between online services, which is most work. Desktop flows (RPA) for legacy applications with no API. I will recommend whichever fits and explain why.
- What if a flow fails?
- Flows are built with error handling and a notification path, so you hear about problems instead of discovering them weeks later. That's part of the scope, not an extra.
- Do you need admin access to our tenant?
- Usually a standard account with the right licences is enough. Where a connection needs elevated permissions I will ask for exactly that and nothing more.
- Can you fix a flow someone else built?
- Yes, that is a common starting point. Send me what you have and I will tell you whether it needs a repair or a rebuild.
